2007 CQWW Phone Contest

4XØC

Entrance to station; Slava 4Z5MU erecting Low Band wires; view of Modi'in; Antennas and the "neighborhood" around the station.

Hal W8HC and Jerry K8OQL enjoy nice Shabbat evening meal and visit with Azar 4X6MI and his family before the contest begins.  Azar's "modest" vertical antenna has a clear shot toward the west-- Tel Aviv and the Mediterranean in the distant background from his QTH balcony in Modi'in.

Azar taking a shift at the 4X0C operating position.  Azar took time to introduce his son Ben to contesting and we can look for Ben to give out the 4X, Zone 20 multiplier some day!

Aric 4X4PP took time off from doing a non-stop comedy routine in "The Bunker" to put a few Qs in the 4X0C Contest log.

Ruben 4Z5FI traveled to Reut on Saturday evening and spent couple hours visiting and operating as member of 4X0C Team.  Reuben is the Master Electrician at Masada National Park.

When not operating, the 4X0C team members enjoyed sitting around chatting and speaking the "common language" that is Ham Radio!
